Tour description – Fez

This private tour (2 days / 1 night) takes you from Fez a Fez, with local guides and everything organised at your own pace.

Frequently asked questions – tour to Fez

Is the desert worth it in just 2 days from Fez?

Yes, if your time is limited. It's an intense but well-used route: in a single night you experience the essentials of the Sahara —camels, camp, sunset and sunrise—. If you have more days, we recommend the 3-day version to enjoy it more calmly.

How many hours of driving are there from Fez to Merzouga?

About 7 hours with stops each way. We leave early to reach the dunes in time for the camel ride before sunset.

Can I end the route in Merzouga or Marrakech instead of returning to Fez?

Yes. We can drop you in Merzouga, continue to Marrakech or adjust the ending to your itinerary. Write to us and we'll organise it to suit you.

Does it get very cold at night in the desert?

From November to March the nights are cool, so it is a good idea to bring warm clothes. The camp has blankets and dinner is served by the warmth of the fire. The rest of the year the nights are pleasant.
